“The ministerial summit in Washington is a vital initiative designed to unite partner nations in a coordinated front against transnational political terrorism,” Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, has stated.

Ambassador Taliashvili underscored that Georgia’s active participation in this international platform is of paramount importance.

“Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister, Maka Botchorishvili, is participating in this ministerial summit, which was initiated and hosted by the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio. The primary objective of this gathering is to unite partner countries in combating transnational political terrorism.
Around 60 nations were invited, and Georgia’s inclusion on such a significant platform is crucial. It is also worth noting that the summit will focus heavily on high-level discussions aimed, on the one hand, at assessing this escalating international challenge and, on the other, at strengthening and deepening the United States’ cooperation with its global partners,” Ambassador Taliashvili remarked.

Georgia’s Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, is currently in Washington attending the ministerial summit on The Resurgence of Political Terrorism, where she is scheduled to deliver an address.
