Georgia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said the agreement would lay a solid foundation for the development of stronger trade and economic relations between Georgia and the UAE.
“Strengthening relations with the United Arab Emirates, as one of the leading states, is a very important priority for us. The UAE has always stood at the forefront of innovation and progress, serving as a beacon of hope and optimism for the future.
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum noted that the deal would mark a new milestone in the UAE-Georgia relationship.
“I am sure that today’s agreement will provide many opportunities for our countries in the future,” he added.
