Upon the decision of the International Skating Union (ISU), for the first time in history, Georgia will host the Challenger Series international tournament in figure skating “Trialeti Cup 2025.” The tournament will be held at the newly built Tbilisi Ice Arena on October 8-11.

The tournament will bring together female, male, couple and sports dancer skaters. Challenger Series in all four categories will be held in Georgia, Japan, Germany and Croatia.

The holding of the popular tournament was decided at the meeting between Georgian Sports Minister Shalva Gogoladze and ISU President Jae Youl Kim in Boston, within the framework of the World Championships.

Various figure skaters with high rankings in the world will compete in the tournament to be held in Tbilisi. The ISU granted Georgia the right to hold a tournament of this scale right after the first application.
