Georgia to host Agile Spirit Multinational Military Exercises for 12th time

Georgia will host the Agile Spirit 2025 multinational military drills for the twelfth time, the Ministry of Defence announced. The exercise is scheduled to take place from July 25 to August 6.

Agile Spirit 2025 aims to enhance the operational capabilities and interoperability of the participating armed forces.

The exercise will be conducted both in Georgia and Turkiye. Co-led by the Western Command and the U.S. Georgia State National Guard, it will involve soldiers from Turkiye, Poland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Defence forces from Armenia and Japan will serve as observers.

Kicking off in the Adana Province on July 21, Agile Spirit 2025 will be hosted at various locations within Georgia, including the Krtsanisi, Vaziani, and Norio military bases. The exercises will feature multifunctional military vehicles and helicopters, such as the UH-60 Black Hawk and AS332 Super Puma.

First conducted in Georgia in 2011, Agile Spirit has grown into an annual exercise involving U.S. Marine Forces Europe and the Georgian military.
