Georgia assumed the rotating Presidency of the Energy Community in 2025 at the 22nd Energy Community Ministerial Council Meeting in Austria, the Economy Ministry reported on Thursday.
According to the Ministry, “Georgia will be actively involved in the planning of the events envisaged by the agenda.”
The Council meeting in Austria focused on the development of renewable energies in the Community countries, the implementation of energy efficiency and decaronization tasks as well as the development of new regulations.
Georgia became a member of the Community in 2017.
