Georgia sets up COVID-19 Vaccine Interagency Coordination Commission

Georgia established an Interagency Coordination Commission to introduce the COVID-19 vaccine in the country, the Legislative Herald of Georgia read on Wednesday.

The Commission aims to determine the vaccination policy and facilitate its introduction, the government decree reads.

The document further elaborates that the Commission would develop a Vaccine Introduction National Action Plan in close coordination with the COVID-19 Interagency Coordination Council, as well as update it if needed. On top of that, the Commission will coordinate and monitor the Action Plan implementation in Georgia.
