The National Environment Agency has issued its weather forecast for Georgia covering February 21–23.

According to meteorologists, February 21–22 will bring relatively warm and largely dry conditions across the country, whilst February 23 will see rain set in, snow on higher ground, and a notable drop in temperatures.

Tbilisi can expect predominantly dry weather, with daytime temperatures of +13 to +15°C.

Coastal areas (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): February 21 will be dry; rain is expected during the second half of the day on February 22 and throughout February 23. Daytime temperatures on February 21–22 will reach +20 to +22°C, falling to +12 to +14°C on February 23.

Lowland areas of western Georgia (Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): Dry on February 21, with rain expected from the afternoon of February 22 and continuing on February 23. Daytime temperatures of +19 to +21°C on February 21–22, dropping to +11 to +13°C on February 23.

Upland areas of western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): Dry on February 21, with rain expected from the afternoon of February 22 and on February 23. Daytime temperatures of +13 to +15°C on February 21–22, falling to +7 to +9°C on February 23.

High-mountain areas of western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmarо): Largely dry on February 21–22, with snowfall expected on February 23. Daytime temperatures of +10 to +12°C on February 21–22, dropping sharply to +2 to +4°C on February 23.

Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Dry on February 21, with localised rain possible on February 22–23. Daytime temperatures of +13 to +15°C.

Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Dry on February 21, with localised rain possible on February 22–23. Daytime temperatures of +14 to +16°C.

Upland areas of eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): Dry on February 21, with localised rain possible on February 22–23. Daytime temperatures of +12 to +14°C.

High-mountain areas of eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): Dry on February 21, with localised snowfall possible on February 22–23. Daytime temperatures of +4 to +6°C.
