The match between Georgia and Russia within the European Rugby Championship will be held without an audience present.
As the Rugby Union of Georgia noted the decision was made due to coronavirus-related fears.
“Dear Friends, Due to the current situation in the country, we have daily consultations with both the Government of Georgia and the National Center for Disease Control.
Given the current situation, we decided to hold a match between Georgia and Russia on March 14 without spectators. Anyone who has already purchased tickets to the match, please contact TKT.GE to receive ticket fee back”, – the statement reads.
