Georgia reports 504 coronavirus cases, 2 038 recoveries, 27 deaths

Georgia reported 504 coronavirus cases, 2 038 recoveries, and 27 deaths on Monday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 263 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 53 cases and the Samegreo-Zemo Svaneti region with 50 cases.

A total of 11 665  tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 6 137 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5 528 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,32%, while 4,9 % in the past 14 days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 330 879, among them, 310 859 people recovered and 4 469 died.

As of today, 89 260 people got the coronavirus vaccine.

There are 67 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4 395 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 657 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
