Georgia reported 4 734 coronavirus cases, 3 895 recoveries, and 38 deaths on Wednesday, the official figures show.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 174 383, among them 145 287 people recovered and 1 614 died.
There are 1 126 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 900 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 3 689 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are cured at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 1 637 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 823 cases, and Adjara – 489 cases, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council.
