Georgia reports 4 146 coronavirus cases, 2 129 recoveries, 37 deaths
Georgia reported 4 146 coronavirus cases, 2 129 recoveries, and 437 deaths on Friday, said Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force of the Inter-Agency Coordination Council at the news briefing held at the Governmental Administration.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 183 099, among them 150 461 people recovered and 1 694 died.
Within the framework of the intensified testing program, 18 894 people were tested throughout Georgia during the last 24 hours among them 11 089 – on antigen quick tests and 7 805 – PCR tests.
There are 1 017 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 881 are hospitalized, 20 637 people are managing the virus symptoms at home, 51 664 people are in self-isolation.
Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 1 708 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 636 cases, and Adjara – 313.
