Georgia reports 37,9% increase in foreign trade turnover in January-March 2022

Foreign trade turnover went up by 37,9% in January-March year-on-year and amounted to USD 3,865 million, the National Statistics Service (GeoStat) reports.

The export increased by 43.3%, and imports by 35.7%. The negative balance amounted to USD 1,521,4 million, or 39,4% in January-March.

Georgia’s largest three foreign partners are Turkey, China, and Russia.
