Georgia reported 824 coronavirus cases, 4 227 recoveries, 46 deaths

Georgia reported 824 coronavirus cases, 46 deaths, and 4 227 recoveries on Monday, Deputy Head of the Task Force under the Interagency Coordination Council, Berdia Sichinava, said.

Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 333 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 111 cases, and the Adjara region with 84 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 209 462, among them 184 668 people recovered and 2 140 died.

There are 489 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 627 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 824 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities, the official figures show.

Currently, there are 1 094 critical patients, among them, 430 require mechanical ventilation.
