Georgia marks 34 years since the outbreak of war in Abkhazia

From early this morning, officials from the State Service of Veterans Affairs, displaced persons from Abkhazia, and families of the fallen gathered at the memorial to lay flowers and pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the War in Abkhazia.

Gathering at the monument, mourners and veterans once again reflected on the devastating events and profound human tragedies that unfolded 34 years ago.
