Georgia hosts first Georgia-Azerbaijan judicial forum

Rati Bregadze, Georgia’s Minister of Justice, and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Fikrat Mammadov, launched the Georgian-Azerbaijani judicial forum in Batumi.

According to the Ministry of Justice, the goal of the judicial forum is to share experience and develop legal cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of the two nations.

The event addresses judicial system strengthening, service digitalization, prison and probation systems improvement, and mutual legal support. The parties also discuss particular activities and future collaboration.

Deputy Justice Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as representatives from the court, prosecutor’s office, and attorneys, attend the event.
