Georgia attaches utmost importance to political, economic, and cultural cooperation with Turkmenistan, PM says
“I wish to emphasise our deep commitment to deepening relations, partnership, and friendship with Turkmenistan. We attach particular importance to this relationship,” the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, declared during a joint press briefing with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, at the Government Administration.
According to the head of government, the Turkmen President’s visit will make an exceptional contribution and bring new momentum to the development of relations between the two countries.
“Our partnership is built upon mutual respect and mutual support. I want to once again express my gratitude to the government of Turkmenistan for its firm support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.
I want to reiterate our deep commitment to deepening relations, partnership, and friendship with Turkmenistan. We attach particular importance to this relationship; we attach utmost importance to every aspect of our cooperation, from political and economic collaboration to partnerships in education, culture, and all other fields.
I am confident that Mr President’s visit will make an exceptional contribution and provide a fresh impetus to the development of bilateral relations between our nations. I thank you once again for visiting Georgia. I am certain that today’s meetings and the agreements reached will further strengthen the friendly relations between Georgia and Turkmenistan, for the mutual benefit of our countries and peoples,” the Prime Minister stated.
