Georgia and Azerbaijan's Presidents meet in Baku for strategic talks
Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, in Baku during his inaugural official visit to Azerbaijan.

The President of Georgia expressed gratitude to his Azerbaijani colleague for his support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and he reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to fostering dialogue and diplomacy for peace in the South Caucasus.
The leaders reviewed ongoing large-scale projects and discussed future cooperation prospects. Following their face-to-face meeting, the two presidents addressed the media in a joint statement.
