The Georgian team faced notable absences—Giorgi Kinkladze, Archil Arveladze, Levan Tskitishvili, Nukri Revishvili, and Levan Kobiashvili were unable to participate due to injuries. Gradually, fans filled the stands, and the stadium reached full capacity by halftime.
