GD’s Machavariani: Agent opposition to fail to organize revolution with Brussels’ financing, Georgian people not to admit it

“It is very difficult to fully grasp the colorful statements Ms Kos often makes until Euro-bureaucrats notice that we truly border the Black Sea and realize the reality that we are a key country in the Middle Corridor. It will be very difficult to make any comments on their statements,” said Levan Machavariani, a member of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to Machavariani, agent opposition will fail to organize a revolution.

“When they face the reality, they will acknowledge that although they conducted pre-election campaigns for the opposition, they failed to replace us through elections, nor did they manage to organize a revolution in Georgia, and the guarantee of all this is the Georgian people.

They will not be able to defeat us in the elections, even with outside interference. Nor will they be able to stage revolutions against us with funding from Brussels. The Georgian people are the guarantee against all of this. Once they realize this, return to the real world, and shed their illusions, it will be easier to comment on their statements,” he said.

On October 6, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos said in response to a question from a Georgian media journalist. “Georgia is a candidate country on paper only; I regret this. I wish Georgia, with the huge support of the Georgian people, were today at the same level as Moldova and Ukraine.”
