“If we look at the current landscape of the opposition, we will clearly see that there is no chance of unity,” said Aluda Ghudushauri, MP of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party.
The MP remarked on the statement of the Girchi-More Freedom party leader Zurab Japaridze who said that “there is no preconditions of unity. Forming unifications will be back to the agenda next year.”
According to Aluda Ghudushauri, persons who represent the opposition are in conflict with each other, they do not have either public trust or support to “make a drastic change.”
“Zurab Japaridze’s statement can be interpreted that the opposition has no chance and their activities are doomed to failure,” he claimed.
