GD leader slams Russian presidential polls in Georgia's occupied regions

“We slam the opening of polling stations in Georgia’s occupied regions for the Russian Federation’s presidential elections,” said Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the parliamentary majority, at the news briefing.

Mdinaradze remarked that the fact serves as a gross violation of international law principles and norms.

“We align with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in condemning the establishment of polling stations in Georgia’s occupied regions for the Russian Federation’s presidential elections.

The occupant country’s actions represent a gross violation of international law principles and norms and are highly embarrassing,” Mdinaradze stated.

The parliamentary majority leader added that both the Georgian and international communities recognize the significance of such violations.
