“The Georgian Dream, alongside the people, has achieved a level of independence where we can confidently state that today, decisions concerning Georgia are made exclusively within Georgia,” GD Executive Secretary Mamuka Mdinaradze declared, addressing the Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party congress.
Mdinaradze extended greetings to the Georgian Dream’s over 41,000 members and more than one million supporters, offering particular respect to the party’s Honourable Chair, Bidzina Ivanishvili.
“Today marks the 9th Congress of the Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party,” he stated. “Under Bidzina Ivanishvili’s leadership, the party has successfully pursued a national and independent policy, free from external and foreign influence, which ensures the country’s development, unification, and irreversible progress.”
“The Georgian Dream, hand in hand with the Georgian people, has reached a degree of independence where we can proudly say that today, decisions regarding Georgia and the Georgian people are made solely in Georgia. Furthermore, we are pioneers in Europe in terms of the speed of economic development,” he reiterated.
“Once again, I wish success to our team, united as a family, on the principled path of striving for the development of our motherland and the Georgian people,” he added.
Mamuka Mdinaradze also congratulated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on his election as the new GD Chair.
“I congratulate Mr Irakli – a worthy individual, loyal compatriot, and friend – on his successes in political activities fraught with complex challenges,” Mdinaradze concluded.
Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was elected Chairman of the Georgian Dream political party during the day’s congress.
