“When Blinken, Borrell, and other European leaders are present at a specific event, it is absolutely logical for the Georgian Foreign Minister to participate in it,” stated Irakli Kobakhidze, Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, in response to questions about Georgia’s participation in the OSCE ministerial.
Kobakhidze emphasized that there are no objective questions about Georgia’s participation in the OSCE ministerial.
“Even here, some people manage to speculate. I would advise other countries to sell four times less wine in Russia than they sell and then discourse participation in some events. This is a double standard of specific countries that are not engaged in wine production and sell four times more wine in Russia than we do; this is a double standard. When Blinken and Borrell participate in the event, it is our responsibility that the Foreign Minister is represented there,” remarked Kobakhidze.
