GD Chair: Party kicks off pre-election campaign which will end with GD's strong victory

The ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party unveiled its new office on Tuesday, formally kicking off the election campaign.

During the presentation, GD Chair Irakli Garibashvili stated, “Today the ruling party officially begins the pre-election campaign, which will end with the strong victory of Georgian Dream on October 26, 2024, by the will of our wise, proud, and honourable Georgian people.”

According to Garibashvili, the Georgian Dream has resulted in both peace and economic prosperity, including gaining the EU candidate status.

“Our team is working tirelessly to avert conflict and mayhem in Georgia. We need to remind the people that peace must be safeguarded and defended! War is dreadful, and we Georgians understand this well. But, fortunately, all wars end, and we hope that peace will be restored in our region,” Garibashvili stated.
