GD Chair calls on Georgian citizens to act in line with European values
Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party Irakli Kobakhidze said that all those, who signed the letter urging ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili’s release, become co-participant of crimes committed by Saakashvili before the Georgian people and state.
Kobakhidze echoed the letter signed by MEPs and former Georgian politicians released on October 18. “This is not true that seventy MEPs signed the letter. There is only one member of the European Parliament among the signatories, and one is much less than 70,” he claimed.
GD Chair called on voters to comply with the European values in the runoff municipal elections scheduled for October 30.
