The French edition “Le Figaro” publishes an article about the representative of Georgia at Eurovision, Oto Nemsadze, the Georgian contender of 2019 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
The publication gives a detailed overview of the career of Oto Nemsadze and notes that the singer received a ticket to Eurovision 2019 as a result of winning the musical competition Georgian Idol.
“Oto Nemsadze won the final of Georgian Idol in early March, and now he has the opportunity to represent his country at Eurovision. 29-year-old Georgian singer achieved success in 2010 by winning the 5th season of Geostar. In 2013, he finished second in the third season of The Voice of Ukraine” – La Figaro writes.
The French edition describes Oto Nemsadze’s song as follows: “This is a call to express our feelings with the song and sing it with a whole heart”.
“Le Figaro” reviews the history of Georgia’s participation in Eurovision.
ESC 2019 will be held at Expo Tel Aviv, the city’s convention center; the show will consist of two semi-finals on 14 and 16 May, and the final on 18 May 2019. Oto Nemsadze, the Georgian contender of 2019 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) will perform on stage in the first semi-final of the musical competition number 11 on May 14. He will perform the entry song “Keep on Going” on stage.
