Free systematic land registration to continue through 2025

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced during a government session that free systematic land registration will continue until the end of 2025.

The Prime Minister remarked that the registration of land plots is one of the key and successful reforms implemented by the Ministry of Justice.

“Through this reform, 1.5 million land plots have been measured, and 1 million have been registered. As a result, over a million individuals have become landowners, with 3,500 to 4,000 plots measured and registered each day. This highlights the extensive work accomplished in this area. This initiative is crucial and must be carried to completion,” he stated.
