Founders of Neutral Georgia file lawsuit in Prosecutor's Office

Founders of the public movement United Neutral Georgia filed a lawsuit in the General Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.

United Neutral Georgia member Vato Shakarashvili stated that the lawsuit concerns the request to identify the spy network operating in the country and the urge to investigate their activities.

According to him, the lawsuit includes various crimes committed by the opposition after 2012.

Vato Shakarashvili believes the investigation against the opposition should be opened at least under 7 articles of the Criminal Code.

“These articles pertain to the united activities against Georgia’s Constitutional rule and security principles. This concerns crimes under approximately 7 articles, which the opposition-called four parties had been committing for years. It means the spy network acted against our national interests,” Shakarashvili said.
