Nobody will have indulgence with Amnesty bill in the future, said Salome Samadashvili, former member of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party.

According to Samadashvili, no criminal cases were filed against a law-enforcer who was responsible for shooting at Mako Gomuri (one of the protesters of June 20-21 developments), or a person who gave orders on the so-called Gavrilov’s Night, as a result of which the many people received serious injuries and the young girl lost her eye. Therefore, Amnesty bill would not concern them.

“Nobody expects that the Georgian Dream will investigate something or give adequate reaction to the June 20-21 events,” Samadashvili claimed.

Salome Samadashvili further said that fulfillment of the April 19 agreement was very significant to ensure Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic future. “Anything against the agreement will be anti-Western propaganda,” Samadashvili claimed.

The Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
