Former military serviceman Zaur Abuladze was among the people, who died during Leogrand Hotel fire in Batumi city of Adjara region. He served in the Georgian Armed Forces until 2011 and participated in the international mission in Afghanistan in 2010.

November 27, 2017, was declared as Mourning Day at the decision of Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Georgian government. State flags will be lowered across Georgia’s territory.
Eleven people died as a result of the fire, which broke out two days ago at 5-star Leogrand Hotel in Batumi. Ten people are citizens of Georgia, one – Iran. More than 100 people were evacuated from the building.
