Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee and Permanent Head of the Georgian parliamentary delegation in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), met OSCE Secretary General Feridun H. Sinirlioğlu.
The OSCE future plans and European security challenges were reviewed during the meeting. The sides focused on Georgia’s active role in the OSCE and the country’s application to chair the organization in 2027.
Nikoloz Samkharadze noted that if Georgia is elected as the chairman-in-office country, the OSCE’s activities will become more useful and effective.
At the meeting with the OSCE Secretary General, Nikoloz Samkharadze also discussed the ongoing internal political processes in the country and the parliamentary agenda.
