Foreign Ministry welcomes Humanitarian Ceasefire reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan
Georgia welcomes Humanitarian Ceasefire reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia said in a statement.
The Ministry said it hoped that progress would be reached in regulation of the military conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh region through negotiations.
“Establishment of peace will contribute to strengthening of security and welfare in the region,” Foreign Ministry said in the statement.
On November 9, after more than 11 hours of negotiations during a closed-door meeting with Russia’s Foreign Minister in Moscow, Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed to a humanitarian ceasefire in Artsakh.
