Georgian Embassy in Israel is in contact with Georgian citizens, said the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“According to the latest data, there are no Georgian citizens among the injured, although we continue to keep contact with the the citizens and the Israeli relevant services,” the statement reads.
Hamas has launched more than 5,000 rockets from Gaza at Israel and kidnapped the bodies of Israeli soldiers killed in clashes on the border on Saturday, the Islamist group’s military wing said, as Israel declared a state of war alert. At least 22 people were killed and over 100 injured in the shelling.
