Defense Minister meets Israeli Ambassador

The Georgian Defense Minister, Irakli Chikovani, had an introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Israel, Hadas Ester Meitzad.

During the meeting, the minister highlighted the historical friendship between the peoples of Georgia and Israel, which is grounded in the close political relations between the two countries.

Irakli Chikovani expressed gratitude to the Israeli Ambassador for Israel’s support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Additionally, he conveyed solidarity regarding the terrorist attack on the state of Israel and its citizens that occurred on October 7, 2023.
