For Georgia’s Tata Khvedeliani: PM earned status of Eagle Hills sales manager; now he comes to Parliament to dismantle that image
“For us, Irakli Kobakhidze is a highly effective sales manager for Eagle Hills, a reputation he has earned. However, we must not forget that the price of eggs has ultimately defeated him,” stated MP Tata Khvedeliani, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party, speaking to GPB First Channel.
According to him, the Georgian Dream government recognises that migration poses a problem in Georgia, yet its policies remain ineffective.
“The real purpose of Irakli Kobakhidze’s appearance in Parliament is public relations. He has skillfully built his image as Eagle Hills’ sales manager. Now, he’s there to dismantle that image. Georgian Dream has acknowledged migration as a problem. But their approach remains inadequate. Why are so many Georgians leaving the country, and what conditions has Georgian Dream created to drive this exodus? Foreigners are replacing Georgians in the labour market, leaving many locals without the opportunity to realise themselves professionally. To us, Irakli Kobakhidze is a profitable sales manager for Eagle Hills, someone who has even crafted this image, though we must remember that he is ultimately a loser in the ‘battle’ over the price of eggs,” Khvedeliani concluded.
