In Brussels, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met the EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.
The FM told Georgian journalists that he had reiterated to the EU Commissioner the ruling team’s readiness to continue working to fulfil the EC-proposed recommendations with the participation of all stakeholders and finish the process as soon as possible.
According to the Foreign Minister, he had received supportive messages from the EU Commissioner.
“I would like to emphasize that Olivér Várhelyi was interested in the details of carried out work and plans,” Darchiashvili said.
Ilia Darchiashvili added that his visit to Brussels included meetings at the European Commission, with EU Commissioners and his participation in the Georgia-NATO Commission.
