FM meets Diaspora representatives in Italy

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, who pays a working visit to Italy, met heads and representatives of the Georgian Diaspora organizations.

According to the Foreign Ministry, at the meeting, Ilia Darchiashvili reviewed ongoing political processes in the country and progress in the foreign political arena.

He accentuated the role of the Georgian Diasporas in Georgian culture’s popularization and Sunday Schools in preserving the national identity among children.

Representatives of the Georgian Diaspora provided the minister with information on carried-out projects and current activities. The sides pledged readiness to keep close cooperation and communication.
