FM Maka Botchorishvili: Space cooperation is critical to global security; Georgia’s top-level invite to Paris Summit underscores our standing

“Space cooperation today represents one of the most critical imperatives for both European and global security,” Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili stated during a press briefing with Georgian journalists in Paris.

According to the Minister, President Emmanuel Macron’s initiative centres on strategic dialogue with international partners, making Georgia’s invitation to participate at the highest level a milestone development.

“Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will attend the scheduled summit. Beyond ensuring that Georgia remains an active participant in these high-level global deliberations, the gathering holds immense bilateral value. Numerous international delegations and heads of state are gathered here, offering an exceptional platform for Georgia,” stated Maka Botchorishvili.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is visiting Paris at the personal invitation of the French President to attend the inaugural International Space Summit.
