FM: Inauguration of Milan General Consulate to enhance service accessibility
“The inauguration of Georgia’s General Consulate in Milan, scheduled for today, will serve eight regions of Northern Italy,” stated Maka Botchorishvili, Georgia’s Foreign Minister.
According to the FM, the new consulate will significantly improve accessibility to services for Georgian citizens in Italy.
“Northern Italy is a vital region both economically and culturally, and it functions as a diplomatic hub. Milan hosts numerous consulates from various countries, and starting today, Georgia will be also represented there. This development will foster the strengthening of economic, cultural, and political ties with Italy. All services provided by the consulate will be more readily accessible to our citizens,” she emphasized.
