FM: Georgia’s resilience is testament to consistent policy in face of external pressure
Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili affirms that the consistent policy implemented under foreign pressure has fortified Georgia’s position. The Minister expressed these views during an interview on Rustavi 2 TV.
“When our country was thrust into the very epicentre of a targeted campaign by foreign interference and actors, it became crucial to adhere to a consistent and resolute approach. The measures taken by the Georgian government, guided by a clear policy, have resulted in Georgia today being much stronger and better positioned, particularly on the international stage,” the Foreign Minister stated.
According to the Minister, the progress achieved enables Georgia to continue pursuing a foreign policy aligned with its national interests.
“We can confidently say that we have safeguarded our national interests. Today, we are taking the necessary diplomatic steps to enhance our country’s position further, strengthen its sovereignty, and realise our goals related to Georgia’s security, stable development, and economic prosperity,” Maka Botchorishvili concluded.
