FM: Georgia-Azerbaijan cooperation to intensify

Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani evaluated Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s official visit in Azerbaijan.

Zalkaliani said the visit was useful and prolific that creates the ground for intensification of Georgia-Azerbaijani partnership and cooperation.

“We have many things in common: Our interests over the regional and strategically important projects, development of bilateral trade-economic relations and the new geo-political reality in the region. High-level talks were very important. We need exchange of information, agreeing standpoints, coordination,” FM said.

According to David Zalkaliani, both sides expressed readiness to continue positive dynamics of relations and partnership. “We support each other in context of multilateral international organizations’ formats,” he claimed.

Georgian FM pressed hope that cooperation would further deepen in the future and the strategic partnership would gain a qualitatively new impetus.
