FM Botchorishvili to undertake her first official visit to Israel

In her capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili is undertaking her inaugural official visit to the State of Israel. The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released details of this trip.

According to the ministry, Maka Botchorishvili will meet with Israel’s Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, the Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Avi Dichter.

During her visit on November 17–18, the Georgian Foreign Minister will also visit the Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and hold a meeting with His Holiness Theophilos III, the Patriarch of Jerusalem.

Additionally, Maka Botchorishvili will pay her respects by laying a wreath at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Remembrance Centre in Jerusalem.
