FM Botchorishvili meets with Slovak counterpart in Vienna

Within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial in Vienna, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with Juraj Blanár, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting highlighted the strong, friendly, and partnership-based relations between Georgia and Slovakia. Both sides underscored the importance of deepening political dialogue and invigorating the momentum of bilateral visits.

Furthermore, the ministers discussed opportunities for economic cooperation and explored the positive prospects for collaboration within multilateral formats.

“In addition to matters on the bilateral agenda, the ministers addressed Georgia-EU relations. Maka Botchorishvili expressed gratitude for Slovakia’s support of Georgia’s European aspirations. The discussion also touched on the challenges faced in the EU dialogue and the ongoing efforts required in this regard,” the Ministry’s statement noted.
