Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with His Excellency Carlos Ricardo Martins Célia, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Georgia.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion centred on the evolving cooperation between the two nations and the prospects for strengthening their partnership, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks.

“The talks addressed the security environment and regional and global challenges. The importance of steadfast support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity was reaffirmed.

It was emphasised that Brazil is a significant partner for Georgia and an important Latin American nation with diplomatic representation in Georgia.

The conversation also covered Georgia’s regional role, initiatives undertaken to develop trade relations, and future opportunities for collaboration,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.
