The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Georgia, Ali Yousuf Abdulrahman AlMulla.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and extended her best wishes for his success in his forthcoming endeavours.

The discussion touched upon avenues for bilateral cooperation and the potential to deepen trade and economic ties.

Both parties expressed their readiness to strengthen cooperation further and highlighted the importance of exchanging high-level visits.

It was also noted that, at the end of January, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries will take place in Tbilisi, which is expected to make a valuable contribution to shaping the future agenda of their collaboration.
