FM anticipates positive impact of PM’s meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines on Georgia-U.S. relations
“Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze had a very productive meeting with U.S. Senator Steve Daines. We discussed the state of Georgia-U.S. relations, ongoing developments within Georgia, and our government’s priorities,” stated Maka Botchorishvili, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to Botchorishvili, during the meeting, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Georgia’s readiness to reset and strengthen its relationship with the United States, emphasizing a focus on constructive and content-driven cooperation.
“The senator showed genuine interest in the Georgian issue. He regards Georgia as an important country in the region and beyond. He highlighted the importance of the communication between President Trump and Georgia. I hope this meeting will positively influence Georgia-U.S. relations and foster an attitude that will further enhance their development,” she remarked.
