First-grade registration begins May 22

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs announced that registration for first graders will open on May 22 and remain open until June 17.

Parents and legal guardians can complete the registration process by visiting the official website of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) at registration.emis.ge.

For children registered online, the submission of required documentation will take place at schools from June 18 to June 27.

In accordance with the recent amendment to the Law of Georgia on General Education, which will be enforced for the 2024-2025 academic year, children who turn six years old by December 31 are eligible to enrol in first grade.

The Ministry urges parents to carefully follow the registration instructions, familiarise themselves with the list of necessary documents, and adhere to the specified terms and conditions. This will help ensure that their children are enrolled smoothly and on time.
