Finance Committee Chair: Opposition's involvement in budget discussion important

The Parliament’s Budget and Finance Committee Chair, Irakli Kovzanadze, says the opposition’s involvement in a budget discussion is important.

“Despite the differences of political opinion, the opposition who worked in our committee and expressed its views, criticism, awakened both persons on the rostrum and the majority, so their participation was important,” Kovzanadze said.

The Georgian Parliament will approve the draft of the state budget 2021 in the coming days.

The opposition MPs are still in the boycott and refusing to enter the parliament.
