Final phase of first-grade registration in public schools begins today
The final phase of registration for first-grade pupils entering public schools for the 2026–2027 academic year has commenced today.
According to the LEPL Education Management Information System (EMIS), during this concluding stage, parents or legal guardians can register their children until July 31 for any remaining vacant places, or slots that have become available following the completion of the previous registration rounds.
To complete the registration, a parent or legal guardian must submit an application to their chosen public school alongside copies of their own identification document and the child’s birth certificate. The respective public school will then process the pupil’s registration based on the documentation provided.
Comprehensive details on available places, school shifts, and language sectors across public schools can be accessed via the EMIS online portal at skolebi.emis.ge.
The Education Management Information System urges parents and legal guardians to remain mindful of the official deadlines and to approach their preferred public schools within the designated window of July 20 to 31.
For further information regarding the registration process, families can contact the EMIS hotline on (+995 32) 2 200 220 or via email at [email protected].
