The team competition in figure skating is currently underway at the Winter Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina.

Representing Georgia in the short programme, Luka Berulava and Anastasia Metelkina delivered a commendable performance, earning 77.54 points, which places them at the top with 9 team points.

Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin competed in the rhythmic dance segment, contributing an additional 5 points to Georgia’s tally. Overall, Georgia now has 14 points and sits in third position.

Later today, Anastasia Gubanova will take to the ice to perform in the short programme, with Nika Egadze scheduled to compete tomorrow, February 7.

A total of ten countries are competing in the figure skating team event. The five teams with the highest combined scores after four rounds will advance to the finals, continuing their quest for Olympic medals.
